It may sound funny, coming from a bunny,
But I think the world’s unfair.
The balance of nature, I’m now quite sure,
Doesn’t consider the hare.
It’s become a habit, to run like a rabbit,
Each time they come to tear up the land.
But I must take exception and ask the question,
“Where do hares fit into your plan?”
The machines are so big, they gouge and they dig,
They plowed right over my home.
So as of today, I’m going away;
I guess I’m destined to roam.
Just because I’m little and not very strong,
Doesn’t mean that I don’t belong.
Just because I’m tiny and not very brainy,
Doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t be.
It’s breaking my heart, my world is torn apart,
We bunnies need a home like you.
The tractors I fear are already here;
Oh, what’s a bunny gonna do.
The time is coming soon when we’re all out of room.
Then where will a bunny sleep?
We could all become extinct, so please stop and think
What you sow you also reap.
Just because I’m little and not very strong,
Doesn’t mean that I don’t belong.
Just because I’m tiny and not very brainy,
Doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t be.
We could all become extinct, so please stop and think,
What you sow you also reap.
What you sow you also reap.
